The much-anticipated Mixc in Binhu district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, will be officially open to the public on Dec 10, local media reported.

With a built-up area of about 100,000 square meters, the commercial facility includes a six-to-seven-floor commercial building and a 24-floor office building.

The Grand Canal, waterways, and plants are expected to blend into the commercial complex via a riverside fair, creating a relaxed atmosphere for dining and entertainment.

A combined 326 brands have established a presence in the facility with the number of first stores accounting for more than 30 percent, including six first stores in Jiangsu and 72 first stores in Wuxi.

Catering will be an important commercial activity in Binhu's Mixc and will offer cuisines of northern and southern China as well as from around the world. The proportion of its brands of quick meals, light meals, and takeaway dining is much higher than that of other Mixc outlets.
