Hu Garden, the 1st Ceramics Garden in Yixing

Hu Garden, the 1st ceramics garden was unveiled to the public at ceramics wharf yesterday, which is jointly designed by Jacques Kaufmann, Chief of International Academy of Ceramics, and Jiang Guoxing, a Chinese ceramics master who have worked together for over one year. Cultural views including a series of ceramic sculpture in the form of Hu (a Chinese character meaning “mutual”), a ceramic memorial archway, a wall made of over 200 tons of waste ceramic pieces, rockeries, streams, wooden houses with antique style and the pavilion, and natural ones including bamboos and reeds create an unique and charming garden in south China style.
