Xiaolou Lane and Yingyue Tiandi in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, were recently listed as a provincial tourism block and provincial tourism block candidate, respectively, according to the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
The 500-meter-long Xiaolou Lane covers 4,000 square meters and was the residence of two of the most distinguished people in Wuxi, surnamed Tan and Song, during the Song Dynasty (960-1279).
In 2008, the local government started rebuilding the area into a central cultural block, which reopened in 2019 and integrates Jiangnan residential complexes with elements of tourism, leisure, culture, training and exhibitions.

Surrounded by Yingyue Lake, Yingyue Tiandi is a great place for parents and children to hang out. Thay can camp, have picnics, ride bicycles, row boats, or just wander along Yingyue Lake while admiring the scenery.

Yingyue Tiandi focuses more on art and culture than other commercial blocks in Wuxi. Art galleries, bookstores, outdoor cycling clubs, and art-themed hotels can all be found here.
