The 2023 Tea Zen April to Yixing tourist season recently kicked off in Yixing, a county-level city in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, local media outlets reported.

Running from April to July, the tourist season this year includes six theme events featuring spring outings, handicrafts, delicacies, opera, and sports, during which over 30 activities will be organized for participants.

The first Yixing Xushe Rose Culture and Art Festival allows tourists to experience the industrial chain of edible roses while enjoying the beautiful flowers. Vegetarian dishes, cultural performances, and art exhibitions will be available at the Cross-Strait Chinese Culture and Vegetarian Food Festival while the first Yangxian Mountain and Lake Music Festival highlights exciting songs and scenic landscapes.

Ever since 2014 Yixing has hosted the annual tourist season to showcase the city's unique natural resources and cultural charm, which has further improved the profile of the city's tourism industry.
