Wuxi airport stages exhibition of intangible cultural heritages

An exhibition of local intangible cultural heritages began at Wuxi's Sunan Shuofang International Airport on Feb 14.
The exhibition is located beside Gate 19 and features exquisite works such as Huishan clay figurines, Yixing purple clay, Wuxi opera, Wuxi embroidery, Wuxi zhima, liuqing bamboo carving, and Yixing Jun-glazed pottery.

The exhibition was sponsored by the Wuxi intangible cultural heritage protection center of the Wuxi public culture and art development center and aims to showcase the essence of local culture.
Visitors can admire costumes, headwear, accessories, and stage props, which are all highlights of Wuxi opera performances.
On the other side of the exhibition are various illustrations depicting customs and practices of Wuxi, showing the city's ancient towns, modern urban areas, and scenery along the Grand Canal, as well as the historical and cultural development of Wuxi.
