Wuxi showcases rich cultural, tourism resources in Shanghai

Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province kicked off its culture and tourism week in Shanghai on Nov 5, the first day of the fifth Chine International Import Expo.

The event will showcase Wuxi's unique Jiangnan style and cultural attractiveness through promotional meetings, experiential activities, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, delicacies, and culturally creative products.

Two social media influencers were invited to share their experiences and tips for traveling Wuxi, and the camping site map in the city was launched at the opening ceremony.

A week-long exhibition of paintings by Wuxi artists was held on the same day.

During the week-long event, Wuxi authorities will offer Shanghai residents free tourism packages worth over 5 million yuan ($694,000). These tourism packages include tickets to the city's popular attractions, including Nianhua Bay, Lingshan Mountain, and Yuantouzhu.
