Wuxi, Jiangsu province is expected to see the emergence of four new landmark cultural venues in the near future – the Wuxi Art Museum, Wuxi Olympic Sports Center, Wuxi Symphony Hall, and Wuxi Culture and Art Center.
Construction on the four cultural venues is currently in full swing.
Construction on the Wuxi Art Museum's three-story main structure has entered the latter half, with the main structure topping out in June. At the same time, the installation of the curtain wall has begun, alongside meticulous interior decoration work within the venue.
The buildings of the Wuxi Art Museum stand at a height exceeding 8 meters. When viewed from above, they resemble uniquely shaped Taihu stones resting by the Shangxian River Wetland Park, seamlessly connected to the outside through expansive lawns, without any surrounding walls.

Construction on the buildings of the Wuxi Olympic Sports Center will be finalized this year and the next phase, involving the decoration of the sports center, will commence thereafter.
The sports center comprises a 60,000-seat sports complex, an 18,000-seat stadium, a 2,000-seat indoor swimming pool, and two supporting sports centers.

In addition to the 1,500-seat Wuxi Symphony Hall, Art Exchange Center, and Performing Arts and Business Center, the hall boasts Michelin-starred restaurants, bookstores, and themed bars.
The base slab of the main area of the Wuxi Culture and Art Center's theater has been completed and the entire establishment is expected to be finalized in 2026.
