With the arrival of March, the climate in Wuxi has become exceptionally pleasant, heralding the best season for hiking. Let's explore the top hiking destinations in Wuxi together.

The Guanzhang Ancient Path starts at the foot of Shengzi Mountain, passing through Shengzi Mountain, Sanguanzhang Peak, Erguanzhang Peak, and finally reaching the summit of Touguanzhang Peak. Descending south from the peak, the path leads through Dadong Mountain to the Quanfeng Temple, covering a total distance of about 7 kilometers. Along the way, the scenic beauty of mountains and rivers intertwines with cultural landscapes, creating a path that combines natural scenery and historical heritage.

As one of East China's classic outdoor hiking routes, the Junzhang Ancient Path stretches from Baojie Mountain Park in the north to Wutangmen in the south, spanning approximately 20 kilometers. This area is ideal for hiking enthusiasts and an excellent destination for family outings. Standing at the highest point of the ancient path, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the vast Taihu Lake scenery.

The Zhuangyuan Ancient Path spans about 5 kilometers and is a popular ancient path in the Yangtze River Delta region. Starting from Zhangye village and passing through tea plantations and bamboo forests, the path is ideal for experiencing Wuxi's rich cultural heritage and beautiful natural landscapes, especially during spring when peach and plum blossoms are in full bloom.

The Huishan district has a highly recommended hiking route called the Chunshenjian Trail. This 5-kilometer route offers an excellent opportunity to experience natural beauty and historical culture. Walking along this trail, passing through dense forests, you can pause at picturesque pavilions to admire the murmuring streams and enjoy panoramic views of the mountains and the Huishan Ancient Town.

The Doushan Mountain Rainbow Trail spans approximately 4 kilometers, starting with red, yellow, blue, purple, and green colors intertwined among the lush green mountains, resembling a rainbow ribbon draped between the hills of Doushan Mountain. Along the way, there are viewpoints, pavilions, and other attractions where you can take in the beauty of the mountains.

The West Lihu Lake Hiking Trail starts from Bogong Island, passing through Shili Fangdi, Baojie Bridge, and the scenic areas around West Lihu Lake, forming a circular hiking route spanning approximately 10 kilometers. The breeze from the lake, the pleasant aroma of blooming flowers, and the melodic calls of birds present an ideal environment for hiking.
