Exhibition in Wuxi serves up cultural extravaganza

The Helyu Relics Museum in Binhu district, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, launched an exhibition titled "Mountains and Waters Forming Artifacts" on May 16 to celebrate the 2025 International Museum Day, which falls on May 18.
Running until Sept 10, the exhibition highlights 100 exquisite cultural relics unearthed in Wuxi, weaving a narrative that spans over 7,000 years of the city's development.

Through innovative presentations that breathe vitality into the ancient artifacts, the exhibition puts a spotlight on Wu culture, a treasure of Chinese civilization which blossomed amidst the landscapes of Jiangnan region.
During the opening ceremony, the Cultural Facilities and Museums Alliance of Binhu District unveiled an array of activities, with a focus on promoting reading, celebrating art, and more. These activities include the national industry and commerce-themed exhibition at the Rong Yiren Memorial Hall, a reading salon at the Dagong Library, and a lifestyle exhibition at the Canal Bund.

To further enhance the fusion of culture and tourism, the Lingshan Mountain Museum signed an agreement with the School of Design at Jiangnan University, while the Helyu Relics Museum partnered with the School of Design at Nanjing University of the Arts on the same day, paving the way for the development of cultural and creative products inspired by Wu cultural relics.
