Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province marked China's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day on June 14 with a series of activities in 600-year-old Tianshang Cunqian village in Huishan district.
A group of intangible cultural heritage practitioners showcased their skills on-site, allowing the public to experience the city's unique cultural charm and rich history.
From June 14 to 15, the ancient stage in front of the village resounded with drums and singing as traditional operas were performed.
Makers of Yixing purple clay teapots, Huishan clay figurines, and more entered the live streaming rooms to showcase their crafting techniques and tell the stories behind these traditional art forms.
A photography exhibition themed on intangible cultural heritage captures dynamic moments through the lens, including scenes from Wuxi's streets and alleys, intangible heritage workshops, craft making, and artistic performances.
