Wuxi, a water town in East China's Jiangsu province, has wowed audiences in Australia with its rich culture and art at a cultural tourism promotional event centered around the "watery charm of Jiangsu", which opened at the China Cultural Center in Sydney.
The center also hosted an exhibition showcasing Jiangsu's culture and scenery.
Wuxi used the event to showcase its cultural heritage and tourist attractions to Australian audiences and promote tourism exchanges between China and Australia.

The event opened with Jiangnan Recalled, an original group dance from Wuxi. Performers used fans to evoke the scenery and cultural traditions of the Jiangnan region. The audience included representatives from Australia's tourism and aviation industries, as well as journalists.
Coinciding with Mid-Autumn Festival, a garden party was held at the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Sydney. The Wuxi Song and Dance Theater blended Jiangnan songs, erhu solos, and traditional storytelling with the garden's scenery and moonlit ambiance.
