A horse-themed resort in Jiangyin, a county-level city of Wuxi, has been named one of Jiangsu's innovative scenarios for integrated sports and tourism development in 2026.
The list was released by the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
Feima Water City, developed by Heilan Group, is a 2,000-mu (133.33-hectare) sports tourism complex centered on horse culture. It welcomes more than 3.5 million visitors a year and has been recognized as a National Sports Tourism Demonstration Base and repeatedly listed among China's top 10 sports tourism attractions.

Visitors can explore a horse culture museum, enjoy horseback riding, carriage tours and boat cruises, or visit the Heilan Art Museum. Regular international dressage shows, equestrian competitions and carnival events are also staged there.
As sports events increasingly move into scenic areas, neighborhoods and commercial blocks, the resort has grown into an all-ages sports and leisure destination and it has also launched the Pow Running Club, creating a running ecosystem that links tracks, branded races and runner communities, drawing runners from across China.
Nocturnal equestrian events and the Feima Music Festival have boosted the resort's nighttime economy, driving a surge in visits and making it a popular leisure destination in the region and beyond after sunset. The recognition underscores Wuxi's growing strength in sports-tourism integration.
