A total of 34 tourist attractions in Wuxi will provide special discounts for citizens from May 19 to 25 in celebration of China Tourism Day, which falls on May 19 every year.

All four 5A-level tourist attractions in Wuxi are offering significant discounts. The Wuxi TV production base, including the Town of the Three Kingdoms and the Town of the Water Margin, will reduce ticket prices from 175 yuan ($25.94) to 85 yuan.

Lingshan Mountain scenic area, Turtle Head Isle scenic area, and Huishan Ancient Town will be offering 50 percent discounts, bringing prices down to 105 yuan, 45 yuan, and 35 yuan, respectively.

A special 50-percent discount will also be offered on tickets to various popular local tourist attractions, including Nianhuawan scenic area, Wuxi Plum Garden, Liyuan Garden, Wuxi Zoo, Wuxi Studios, Ehu Rose Garden and Chinese Stone Garden.

Visitors will also be able to visit Yixing Sea of Bamboo Park, Yixing Shanjuan Cave scenic area, the Former Residence of Xu Xiake, and Helyu Relics Museum for free.

In addition, Wuxi Sunac Culture and Tourism Town will offer an adult annual card at 365 yuan from April 30 to May 22.

Locals can watch performances for 30 yuan each and get a free tea at the Wuxi Opera Art Center from May 1 to 30.

Wuxi citizens can enjoy various perks by presenting their ID cards, residence permits or student ID cards at ticket offices.
