The 2023 China Grand Canal Intangible Cultural Heritage Tourism Conference and Huishan Clay Figurine Cultural Art Festival officially kicked off at Huishan Ancient Town, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province on Sept 27. This event aims to delve into, preserve, and utilize the Grand Canal's traditional culture, while also showcasing intangible heritage in tourism, and blending ancient culture into modern life.

The event features an opening ceremony, a clay figurine workshop, an intangible cultural heritage market, a food expo, Xiju performances in gardens, traditional opera exhibitions, and more.
