The 19th China Plum Blossom and Wintersweet Flower Exhibition was inaugurated at the Plum Garden in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Feb 18 and will run until late March.

The exhibition features over 40 expansive outdoor landscapes, nearly 200 meticulously crafted bonsai pots, and thousands of blooming plum blossoms and wintersweet. Additionally, visitors can immerse themselves in a diverse selection of research-oriented classes, cultural exchange activities, and enchanting garden parties.

Strolling through the Plum Garden, one could witness the delicate plum flowers just starting to bloom on the branches. Shades of deep red, light red, pale yellow, and snow white petals, infused with the invigorating cold fragrance of wintersweet, announce the imminent arrival of spring.

These varied and enchanting presences can be admired in five key areas within the garden: the entrance, historical section, Ancient Plum and Peculiar Rock Garden, Xiaojingu, and the northern precinct.

About 20 percent of the plum blossoms in the garden have bloomed, and as the weather warms, an increasing number will burst into full bloom.
