The newly-renovated Hongshan Site Museum in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, has opened to the public, local media reported recently.
The revamped museum consists of three exhibition areas – one for the archaeology and historical cultural display of Hongshan Site, one for the Qiu Chengdun Site, and one for the unearthed artifacts from a Hongshan tomb, as well as a temporary exhibition hall.
In addition to traditional artifact displays, the upgraded museum utilizes multimedia technology to provide immersive experiences, including crystal electronic sand tables, holographic projections, air imaging, transparent interactive screens, and AI digital figures.

The redesigned public spaces optimize the layout of the entrance hall and include a youth activity center and public education lecture hall.
To strengthen artifact preservation, this renovation addresses indoor temperature differentials by optimizing the air conditioning system and introduces constant temperature and humidity display cases, significantly enhancing the quality of the exhibition environment for the artifacts.
Opening hours: 9 am to 5 pm (No entrance after 4 pm)
Address: No 200 Feifeng Road, Hongshan subdistrict, Xinwu district, Wuxi (无锡市新吴区鸿山街道飞凤路200号)
