Wuxi has rolled out 20 measures to boost tourism and consumption this summer. Whether you are a young adventurer, a family traveler, or a cultural enthusiast, the city has something for everyone.
Wuxi is teaming up with Chinese tourism agency Ctrip to offer package deals featuring significant discounts for attraction tickets and homestays.
High school graduates enjoy free admission to Wuxi's paid tourist attractions, while recent local university graduates can visit State-owned graded scenic spots free of charge for a year.
A stamp-collection check-in system has been launched around the 10 key filming locations of the Spring Festival Gala Wuxi branch venue, featuring 10 gala scenes, check-in spots, recommended trendy routes, and exclusive benefits.
In addition, Wuxi's scenic spots and nighttime tourism zones are extending their opening hours and offering special nighttime discounts, while slow-paced, age-friendly cultural tours have been introduced for seniors. Local TV hosts will accompany the tours, adding an extra layer of fun.

Furthermore, 40 tax-refund stores now offer instant refunds, providing standardized and convenient tax refund guidelines. International tourists can claim same-day refunds with single-store purchases totaling at least 200 yuan ($27.87).
Wuxi is collaborating with seven major commercial banks, including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of Communications, and China Everbright Bank, to make paying more convenient for tourists. Using bank apps, visitors can enjoy a variety of travel and consumption benefits.
In partnership with Didi Chuxing, 50,000 limited, exclusive ride coupon packs will be issued this summer. Users can claim one pack weekly, valid for seven days on discount express.
Wuxi is also offering a wide range of educational tours and summer camps. Cultural venues such as museums, libraries, and theaters are extending their opening hours and hosting special exhibitions and events.
Lastly, over 50 performances with diversified discounts are now available across theaters citywide and a series of rural activities centered around seasonal fruits like peaches and grapes are being hosted across the city.
