The Wuxi Ehu Tourist Resort in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, was recently designated as a provincial-level tourism resort by the provincial government, officially recognizing it with this title.

Across and within Ehu town, a network of rivers and ponds weaves through the landscape, offering plentiful aquatic resources. The residents of Ehu have traditionally upheld the virtues of charity, filial piety, and hard work in farming and education, leading to a celebrated culture that champions good deeds.

Ehu has long been recognized as the heart of filial piety and charity in Jiangnan, boasting a rich cultural legacy that has produced numerous renowned figures. Esteemed individuals like the modern mathematicians Hua Hengfang and Hua Shifang, musician Wang Xin, and Qian Weichang, regarded as the father of mechanics, all originate from Ehu and have made substantial contributions to the nation's talent reserves.

The Dangkou Ancient Town within the resort boasts the architectural complexes from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), the first charitable estate in Jiangnan, and the Wuxi Charity Museum, along with other historical and cultural sites.
