The Wuxi Museum hosted the main event for the 2026 International Museum Day in Jiangsu province on May 15, marking the launch of the second season of a provincial exhibition tour.

Under the theme "Museums Uniting a Divided World", Jiangsu organized nearly 200 special activities across the province. During the event, the 2026 key exhibitions for Jiangsu's museums and memorial halls were unveiled, along with the first batch of the Jiangsu Digital Cultural Relics Treasure Box project.

The second season of the "Digital Jiangsu Charm: Grand Exhibitions at Your Doorstep" provincial tour combines precious cultural relics with digital technology to showcase the unique cultural characteristics of 13 cities in Jiangsu.

Visitors can use technology to admire the intricate patterns of Suzhou silk, explore the Chinese worldview during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in a virtual reality space, and witness the digital restoration of the Porcelain Tower of Nanjing.

In the interactive experience area, Wuxi Museum invited international students from countries such as Pakistan, Nigeria, and Panama to participate in traditional Chinese hairpin-making, allowing them to immerse themselves in the charm of Eastern aesthetics.
