Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province has unveiled a summer night tourism campaign running through Aug 31, featuring drone light shows, fireworks, markets and cultural performances across eight resort areas.

Highlights include a 2,000-drone firework display at Zen-themed Nianhuawan Bay Scenic Area, water-curtain shows and wishing-lantern releases at Yangxian Ecotourism Resort in Yixing, and Wonder Nights with historical re-enactments at Wuxi Taihu Shanshui City Tourism Resort.

The Wuxi Jiangnan Ancient Canal Tourist Resort offers holographic water-screen projections along an 8.5‑kilometer stretch, with two record-setting installations, plus free boat rides for this year's exam-takers.

Night markets and camping events are running at other resorts, featuring barbecues, live bands and lakeside activities. Several parks have extended their evening hours with discounted tickets, while Dangkou Ancient Town offers night boat tours on the Beicang River.
